We’re excited to share some wonderful news…The Simply Posh Boutique is now the Simply Posh Studio! While our location hasn’t changed, the new name better reflects what really happens in our creative space.
What We Do
At the Studio, our passion is transforming furniture and home décor with paint, embellishments, and a touch of artistry. From refinished vintage furniture to gorgeous painted wood memory boxes, each piece we create is one-of-a-kind and made with love.
You’ll find our work for sale not only here at the Studio, but also in vendor locations across the region.
Gaynette’s work is featured alongside the local artist Gloria Coker at Design and Consign in Newport News.
Patti’s work is available at the Yorktown Mercantile in Yorktown.
Meet Our Artists
Gay LaRue (Simply Posh by Gaynette): Known for her stunning furniture makeovers, Gaynette brings aged pieces back to life with fresh color, texture, and personality.
Patti Paul (Patti Lee Designs): Patti specializes in smaller furniture pieces and home décor items, using paint and embellishments to create absolutely lovely designs.
Together, we’re creating a space where artistry thrives and where you can watch the process unfold. We love when visitors stop by to see us at work and maybe pick up a few tips along the way!

We’re generally available afternoons, between 1:00–2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Because of other commitments, we may not be there every day, so the best rule is:
“If we’re here, we’re open!”
