The exterior painting has begun You may recall that the paint color was originally a dark red. It was likely designed to blend with the color of the brick walls. However, since the entrance to the building is recessed, it made the entryway kind of disappear into the brick wall. Hopefully, this off-white will brighten the entrance up enough to call attention to it.

As you can see, there is a nice piece of outdoor art right in front of our entrance. That is a leftover piece of art that was included in the downtown Art Market: Virginia’s Outdoor Gallery that existed about 10 or 12 years ago. I am so happy it is right there in front of my little shop – particularly since I was the chair(wo)man of that project!

By the way, that little chest of drawers in the window is one of the furniture pieces I have completed.
